My daughter had one this morning. She is sub-18 but flies internationally regularly as a competitive skier. She's a bit on the smallish side and looks 2 years younger than her age. She has my lifetime status, but I fly her in B on the long haul flights, she has almost 500,000 miles, so I expect her to be making the million miler roll call thread in about 7 years at her rate. Anyways, she's a very experienced flier. This morning she was a battlefield upgrade on her first leg (DEN/IAH), but was running late so she boarded near the end of the last group. Gets to her seat, and as she put it, through text of course, "boomer dad bod has poached my seat."

She is one of the most polite travelers in history, and given her age and size usually does not fight back, but she gets looks all the time, when she flies alone. Anyways, he goes a little too far with her and he says, Blah, blah, blah..."There is an age limit and dress code for first class, young lady, you'll enjoy it back there more with people your age, anyways." Which I considered ballsy considering as she was literally wearing her Team USA sweatshirt with a United Sponsorship on it. But ok.

I wish I could have seen the look on his face as she calmly showed him the seat number and asked the FA who just served him a PDB, to assist. When FA tells him he needs to move he says, "Unaccompanied minors should not be in first." My daughter politely asked if he wanted to take his drink with him as she is underage and alcohol affects her training. I love my kiddo!!!
