This has happened to me at other properties, most recently HR Rochester (NY). There it took a lot of time for the front desk person to figure out how to refund the cost of the breakfast and also all taxes, fees, and some service charge. I had to calculate for him how much the final bill should be: one night's room rate plus taxes. Fortunately I wasn't trying to catch a plane.
