One day a couple of months back following preboarding, the call was for F/100Ks, and 18 lined up and were let through. How could that be with 12 F seats and I as a 75K was #1 on the waitlist?

I wrote Customer Care at Alaska, but never heard back.
All the other 100Ks didn't check off the "I want an upgrade" box y/o were traveling with several family members and all boarded together or some other reason ... just saying "how could that be," not saying "that's what actually occurred."
