The whole LCC model is the “teaser” rate, but then when you add the basic level amenities, it soon starts to add up.
Good point- I checked F9’s rates for this route in October (closer in, so I figure more realistic prices) and while they advertise a teaser rate of $69, once you add in the new economy “bundle” which includes a carryon and an assigned seat, it jumps to $118.
