Many people have mentioned that when booking with points, there are no additional charges for things like local and state taxes.
I recently booked a room for points and noticed that the confirmation mentions that additional taxes of 13% will be charged.

Has anybody else noticed this?

Is that just left over wording from confirmations shared with people who pay with money? Or will I be hit for additional fees that will make buying points ahead of time not worth the time and effort?
