I understand the confusion here. Last week was flying to Edinburgh. Gate 22 shown 50 minutes before departure as was in First lounge didn’t really disturb myself. Suddenly the screens show gate A10 and boarding. As a frequent flyer surprised since would have expected A4 if it was a bus gate and domestic. It was A10, broken air bridge at A22. Listening to some US citizens in the queue the screens in the terminal had gone from A22 to nothing and then very late had gone A10. They were totally confused and were putting in complaints.
We were delayed as passengers were all over the terminal and BA were trying to call them to the correct gate.
