I'll be flying HND to DFW in J and land 8:40am - need to book a connecting flight to EWR and was looking at the following:

10:15AM on AA - is that too little time given that I will have checked bags? Does JAL interline to EWR or do I need to pick up / drop off
11:30 AM on UA - figure I have time to pick up bags and recheck if needed?

What would you do between the two options?
