Thanks for response. When saying 'same zone' I was meaning within Paris ie zone 1, so relatively close.

But now just realised that I've been assuming that if I got a carnet of tickets from A to B, I could use these both for A to B and also B to A.... but I don't have any grounds to assume that. Is that the case?
