My baggage has not arrived when connecting at LHR with plenty of time, that I do not check baggage any more. On one route I was travelling regularly involving another carrier it was as bad as 8 times out of 10 that my bags didnīt make it with a scheduled connection time of about 3 hours. I wonder whether that is part of the problem, because the longer the connection time the higher the likelyhood, it appears. Maybe BA is putting the bags in intermediate storage and donīt release it on time, if the gate is still unknown at the time of arrival?
