Thanks - will do all of the above for Lisbon flight tomorrow. Second bag status has been changed to “out for delivery” now which is the first change in status since 26 June so I’m optimistic I’ll get it back, just not in time for Lisbon. I’ll be sending BA a legitimate claim form for this now five day and ongoing delay, but I’m managing my expectations re: what they’ll pay. American Express Platinum will be my second point of claim for anything BA won’t pay for.
If the claim is reasonable and more importantly clear and easy to understand in 5 seconds it will most likely be paid in full. It is very rare for luggage not to find its way home eventually.
