My second bag status hasn’t changed since 27 June. We landed on 26 from Dubai. The bag that has been delivered went through all the stages like courier picked up, out for delivery, etc. This second bag has no such trail of scans on it.

BA baggage line unanswered and cuts off.
BA customer relations line with the press 1 if you have already travelled unanswered and cuts off.
You can’t wait in a queue for an agent on either line.

Courier company overwhelmed and can’t answer the phone and simultaneously unload and sort bags. BA have washed their hands of it once it has left T5.
I am afraid all you can do is play the waiting game. You are wasting your time calling BA as they have no idea exactly where your bag is. It is indeed frustrating when just one bag turns up. That is no different to what happens at the carousel.

And a reminder, it is well worth having your name and home address on a covered label, in pockets and inside just in case the the tag gets torn off in the bags long journey.
