75 minutes to check bags for all international flights is a drag. While I never plan to cut it tight, the 60-minute deadline has been ingrained in me for years and years..
Will become interesting for Airail connections in FRA where the connection-time is regularly 90 minutes between a train (where you lug your bags on your own) and the UA flight (e.g. LH3611 arr. 10:50 connecting to UA988 dep. 12:20 which is a legal connection). Considering a brisk walk from the train station to United's counters in Terminal 1 is taking about 10 minutes that leaves you with five minutes to queue and get your bags checked in - even in Polaris this is just unthinkable. Will mean a LOT of misconnecting passengers if they really enforce these rule without changing MCTs...
