Good service last night at GRU by Premium Services ground staff at the gate area.
I was seated in the gate area and the agent came up to me as said "Mr. Live4Upgrade, thank you for your business. Make yourself comfortable and I'll come get you when it's time to board". I and the 2 other GS passengers (a couple) were boarded before anyone else by a good 5 minutes. Nice gesture by the agent that didn't take much extra work on her part but came across as a sincere appreciation of GS' business..
Followed by the Captain coming out pre-flight to introduce himself to the GS passengers.
Other stations should take lessons from GRU and NRT/HND staff.
A month ago the gate agent found all of the GS at the gate for the flight to IAD and loaded us into a small van for the ride out to the remote stand where we boarded long before the busses filled with the remaining pre-boarding groups and general boarding. Awesome staff down there!
