Ah, yes. As soon as I saw that, and also that 732 had been changed to a 77W with the old 2-2-2 business class, I urgently called QR to get on the earlier flight. And wow am I glad I did. Not only did I get us back in QSuites, but the delay of 732 would have caused us to miss our connecting flight to MLE.

This all seems to have started on Thursday night when 732 rerouted to Milan PRE-departure, which I still don’t understand. It then made its way to DOH but that seems to have created all these downstream issues. If someone knows why a plane from DFW would reroute with a stop like that, I’d be interested to hear it. I would understand a post-departure stop for medical or mechanical issues, but not pre-departure.
