Next stop was the galleries lounge over in T5B and the walk through the tunnel was a blessed relief from the muggy, sticky heat of the Terminal. Terminal 5B was a little cooler than the main terminal, and the lounge is well signposted and easy to find.

This lounge is a little different from the other galleries lounges. It has a feature whispering angel bar, and it also has a manned food station that has, amongst other things, a baked potato stand.

This is my favourite of all the galleries lounges because it’s always quieter and the staff are usually chattier and less stressed.









There are a couple of fun touches, but no fun on the empty ice cream fridge
