Both LX and LH say we were no-shows on the first leg of the connection. The 2nd leg miles posted immediately. So I’ve given up and will just forgo getting the miles. so the problem then is that LH refuses to pay UA. Agreed that it should be obvious that one can’t have flown leg 2 and not leg 1 since leg 2 would have been cancelled, if leg 1 was not flown. There is an escalation process within UAMP that works with a manual credit request, but yeah, if it is just a shortish infra-EU hop it might not be worth the hassle to get the measly miles.
