This will be the 80th anniversary of the festival (When Pilzen and presumably environs?) were liberated by the US army. The festival runs from May 2-6. I've booked a hotel in town (refundable, presuming rates will go up). Has anyone attended? I'm wondering if there will be enough (and interesting) things to see/do. I don't like big crowds (especially since covid) so staying the whole time might be too much. What things are the most interesting to attend or see? I would not be adverse to spending one day taking train to nearby fun destination as well. Now would it be worthwhile to arrive the day before, and after to catch what might be best parts of festival?
