Resurrecting this old thread to note that last week I was flying P from GRU to VCE. In VCE I was greeted by the an agent that told me that I was a hippocampe flyer and that they would be getting me my luggage right away. I actually did ask "do you mean that I am a La Premiere passenger?" and she said "well yes, but you actually are also marked down as hippocampe, which is a higher status for us".

Don't know why. Perhaps it's because on my outbound La Premiere flight I had a bad experience with ground service in BCN and they wanted to make up for it?
