Just more an observation, but all the UA planes I am taxiing by in E concourse are all mainline. 5 years ago, every plane in Terminal 2 felt like an Air Whiskey CR2. Definitely a good change, but also makes me wonder if the UC there is ever in danger of being overcrowded, now that there are planes more than double the size departing from there? (I don’t fly through ORD frequently enough to know how that lounge’s crowds usually hold up)

Very true! Lots and lots of mainline in T2E/F now, including EWR/LGA/other. It’s been gradually ramping up post-pandemic.
Even pre-pandemic, you’d occasionally see an Airbus over there, but now the 737s as well.
Rumor is that UA is taking over the old Skyclub, so that should alleviate the stress on the T2 club.
