Usually I'm pretty resourceful in choosing a hotel - there's plenty of reviews and pictures to easily pick one that I like.

But of course, the usual western sites (Tripadvisor, Google Reviews, etc) are all a bit less useful for hotels in China....

I have a trip planned to Xi'an. First time there, doing touristy stuff, for 5 nights.

I have my hotel list shortlisted to these three. All three will probably be acceptable for my needs... but curious to know if anyone has an opinion or feedback on any of these three, that might be something I haven't considered?
- Canopy by Hilton
- Hualuxe Tanghua
- Sofitel Legend

For context, I have Diamond status in both Hilton and IHG (Hualuxe) but only Silver in Sofitel, so would also be interested to hear feedback on elite benefit treatment in the Canopy and Hualuxe.
