I honestly can't recall...what do they say when you land at Ted Stevens.....is it welcome to Anchorage or welcome to Ted Stevens and Anchorage? Or welcome to Anchorage?What about other airports where the airport name is different from the village/town/city? If the announcement doesn't use the differently named airport, then Barrow should be Utqiagvik....it isn't that hard to say!!! And it's respectful.
