I requested the upgrade and by the time I looked at my email it had cleared. I don't know exactly how many seconds elapsed but it surprised me given my expectation of being waitlisted.
It was actually a PY Flex award with a PR, not Latitude. Cleared October 2023 for AC 836 YYZ-MUC in May 24.
I've seen this happen a number of times even when R>1 and I'm inside my clearance window...it show's waitlisted on the e-Up page and as soon as I hit 'accept buy' it clears and I get the email + txt msg...seems like a quirk in the system.
