Great trip report, as always and as expected. But I'm intrigued about your reticence to flying the 737 MAX: is it a safety concern, or you dislike the cabin? I fly Air Canada and United within North America pretty frequently, so the type is hard to avoid. My experiences (always in Economy ) have been fine, and I prefer it to the A320 family. (Once you've flown in an AC Rouge A319, you'll never complain about any other aircraft again.)
