It looked like a large piece of glass. Smaller pieces aren't going to cause you any damage and with a sieve 99.9% of glass would be caught if not 100%. That's what I would do at home although I suspect I would know if glass had broken anywhere around the dish. I wouldn't throw out the entire meal, but that's me!
