With this brand, I have only ever tried them out in Italy: Genoa and Bologna. (Genoa AC had a good restaurant for dinner and Bologna AC is just passable) Three nights stay here (460 euros/night). It was very hot in Venice last weekend, and the air conditioning in the room was EXCELLENT ! Worked even without your key card in the slot, which is wonderful after coming in from outside. Breakfast is 20 euros a person, and if one has plat+ and choose F&B credit as your welcome gift, the credit per person is 10 euros - based on double occupancy. Room was very clean, spacious for 2 adults with HBO and the bathroom mirror had an additional lighting option for those that need to do makeup etc. Flat rate taxi to and from hotel is 40 euros. The hotel is right next to Piazzale Roma, very convenient. St. Regis was asking 3000+ euros for the same dates, and we were only in town for the Arte Biennale. We are walkers and was a lovely walk through Santa Croce etc over to Giardini and Arsenale.
Edit to add: our room was on the top floor (2nd lvl) and there was a filtered water dispenser available in the hallway by the elevators. One can fill up their water bottle easily and the water is crisp cold. There is also a jug provided in the room.
