Had a great stay here and really like this hotel. As Ambassador, was upgraded from a Heritage Junior Suite to a Heritage Suite - the room is very comfortable and I really liked the design and furnishings. At check in, I was proactively told breakfast was included - breakfast was a nice mix of hot and cold items. Not my favorite Marriott breakfast by far, but for free at an AC - I will take it. Staff were universally friendly and welcoming.
In the mini fridge there were a variety of snacks/drinks that turned out to be complimentary. This included gin and tonic, some funky soft drinks, sparkling water, and chocolate. Not sure if this was a welcome gift as an Ambassador or how I qualified, but it was a great surprise.
One warning - the heritage rooms are in the old historic building, Our room faced George Street and you could hear the traffic noise. Didn't bother us, but if you're noise sensitive, you might want to make sure you're in the newer building or in a room not facing the street.
The hotel is in a great location - easy walk to everything downtown.

Bathroom is a long layout that has doors into the bedroom and into the bedroom.

Wifi was a bit slow, We also had a weak signal in the bedroom, which might have made it slow.
The unique Iron Bru and popping candy chocolate (took it with us, haven't tried it yet)
Everything in here was complimentary (except the bottle of Matua, which we brought with us).
