Yes, Worldshop has no further relation with Rimowa anymore. Mine bought from Worldshop, I just noticed cracks around the handle and did reach out to Worldshop, but since it's also outside the guarantee period, I was told to contact Rimowa. I did write to them, but for whatever reason, no response. Looking at the price of what they are asking for a new Rimowa, I'm sorry it's just not value for money and more of a fashion statement/social status thing with no practicality anymore.

Same here, a few weeks ago I passed through MUC and passing the Worldshop (and also the one in DUS), I did not see any Rimowa.
I am indeed curious on the new line from Lufthansa - prices are still reasonable if quality is still there. If not, I might look towards a Tumi. Just hoping the cracks I see will not spread further and I can still use mine for another few years down the road.
