We stayed here for three nights last weekend. We didn't come to town specifically for the
São João do
Porto festivities, but they obviously contributed to the city being very busy and the hotel apparently running close to capacity.
We booked and received a Junior Suite located at the centre of the third floor. The room had a good view and was a mirror image of the room
Spymon showed us above. Our welcome amenity was a bottle of sparkling wine (although there were no flutes or small wine glasses to drink it from) and a plate of fruit (without a knife).
Breakfast was good. The POS terminal tried to tempt us to pay in US dollars. Reception staff were competent and helpful.
