An upgrade to a different class of service entails all the benefits of the upgraded tickets. You would get Skypriority, accès salon (if international), and the J baggage allowance. But you will not earn the higher XP unless you up-fared; OLCI upgrades earn at the rate of the original ticketed class of service.
