I would do it for the early boarding, not having to sweat about grabbing overhead space, and being genetically modified, you will appreciate the extra leg room. Orlando flights are notoriously packed and anything but relaxing with the proliferation of small kids. If you can spare the cash, it’s an easy way to remove a couple of holiday stress points.

Eh, I think checking all of the bigger bags (OP said they were checking one) is by far the easiest way to remove the stress point of having to be at the gate ready to board right when your group is called. If they don't get free checked bags (I suspect they don't) then they can just voluntarily gate check the rest of the rollaboards for free.
