Can someone tell me whether I can use a RUC to go from Main to D1 on BOS-LAX on a 757?
Here's the flight I'm looking at (the 2pm), and it says D1 available with RUC

I went ahead and bought it, haven't gotten an email with the ticket yet (it's been about 20 minutes). When I go onto the app and pull up the res, all the Main & Comfort seats are greyed out. D1 seats are "available" but for a $1000 upcharge.
