Thank you SK for your clarification regarding EC 261. One more question here.

In case of EU operated carriers is the 4 hour delay considered for the entire routing or individual flight wise? In my case I have DEL-MUC on LH and MUC-GVA on EN, both EU carriers. I have a 1h40min layover at MUC. Just in the unlikely event that I misconnect (say DELMUC is 2 hr late) I will be likely accommodated in a later MUCGVA flight arriving more than 4 hours late at GVA. Do I qualify? LH flight is only 2 hrs delayed but my arrival at destination is >4 hr late.
