Thanks for the reviews. Looking at a stay in early August, so not peak season. Any thoughts on upgrades either complimentary or using SNA? Based on the reviews, many of the rooms are dark and noisy. SNAs will surely work and you might even score a complimentary upgrade depending on the day of the week and of course your elite tier.
Some of their city side rooms may not have much sunlight during an August afternoon, but I would not call them dark; the park side rooms are NOT dark by any stretch of the imagination. And I have never encountered any noise issues over multiple stays/.
The lounge opens for evening food & cocktails at 5 PM and they are all complimentary. The menu changes daily but if you stay long enough you will know when to expect lamb and when to expect barramundi!
