Forced layover
Hi,
We had our 6 am flight from Indy to Miami was delayed so we wouldn’t make our connecting flight to Quito. We would have a short layover, like an hour.
They booked us tomorrow for the 6 am flight but now we have a nine hour layover. We were wondering if that would be a case where AA should provide a voucher but I’m guessing not.
But they should reimburse us for our extra night at the airport hotel and our meals, right? The agent said all they could do for us was rebook but their policy says otherwise.
