Applicable only to one carry-on sized bag per pax (so it is one container or 1-2 luggage wagons that go straight to the carousel immediately upon landing).
Advantage to the airline: faster boarding and de-boarding means faster turn times.
Advantage to pax: no schlepping, faster TSA lines (maybe a TSA line only for people with only a personal item).
Disadvantage: irrops.
no point - will never happen - no point fo making a guarantee that will fail much of the time.
there is too much that UA is not in control of. It’s not just UA, but airports and various luggage systems.
even before you consider that part, can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to wait 10+ minutes for either gate checked car seats/strollers or rollers on RJs to come to the gate. In a perfect world sure, but in the world we live in, save for maybe the smallest airports, guarantee or not, having bags out in 10 minutes is just not feasible.
