1. The most reliable resource on earning XPs and Miles with Skyteam airlines is - unsuprisingly - the Flying Blue Website. Here's your link to the Kenya Airways page, listing the earning schemas for the various booking classes and fare types: https://www.flyingblue.com/en/spend/...-kenya-airways
2. The best way to get from AMS to DXB, XP-wise mostly depends on what you're willing to spend. You could, for example, fly AMS - FCO on KL in J, connect in FCO to OTP on RO in J, continue from OTP to MAD on RO in J then onwards from MAD to JFK on UX in J, forward JFK to LAX via ATL with DL in domestic F, onwards from LAX to PPT with AF in J then connect to NOU with Air Calin in J, onwards to SYD with Air Calin, again, in J skip to OW for a quick flight to DPS with QF (lovely service), then continue DPS - SIN - AMS with KL all in J, quick AMS-CDG with AF in J and finally, CDG-DXB in F. This will, of course, net you sufficient XPs to jump to Plat (possibly Ulti but i'm kinda lazy on the math ) and will cost you some tens of thousands of euros. You get my point and obvious exageration .
...or you could, of course, jump on the daily KL flight to DXB and earn 8 XPs in Economy, 16 XPs in Premium Economy or 24 XPs in Business.

Here's a link on the overall earning schema for XPs relative to distance flown: https://www.flyingblue.us/en/programme/more-info/status
