Transferring miles really doesn't make any sense. They do offer it but the cost of transfer is roughly equal to what the miles are worth.

You can buy miles outright at 0.035 (ie 10k miles is $350), again not a good deal and rarely makes sense.

Basically in almost every case you are better off assuming you can't transfer or buy miles, and just booking with the miles you have and cash to make up the rest of the tickets.

And don't get 'married' to the idea of using miles if the math doesn't work. Wait for a time that it does.
