Just a thought. BA flights are cancellable at no cost within the first 24 hours after booking. You could check if BA Hols are the same, I have no idea. If you are not after double tier points, why not rebook as flight only then book your hotel direct with IHG. That way you can access the upgrade and late checkout. You’re welcome. 😉
