AVOID!!!
Stayed one night, booked basic twin room, upgraded to Danube facing junior suite on first floor. Not a suite in any definition of the word, no separate room, nothing separating the bed from a seating area as sometimes done with a TV, just one step up from the bed floor to another level with a tiny table and 2 chairs.
The evening reception is very poor, nothing like as described or pictured 2 or 3 years ago. 2 hot items - plain rice and a shrimp casserole (which stank), 6 different cheeses, NO cold cuts or ham, something that looked like falafel but was not (that or a very poor attempt at it, whatever, it was not good, some bread and not so good olives.
In room AC was piss poor, hardly slept as the room was too warm despite setting the AC to the coolest temp 19C, but the corridors were cool.
Next morning, the shower from hell, temperature would go from cold to hot to cold to hot even though I set at a slightly warm temperature.
All this with a supposedly recently renovated room (#123).
Only good points about this hotel are very good staff and good breakfast.
I would never stay here again. If you have to be in this area at a Hilton chain hotel pick the Hampton Vienna Mitte over this dump any day. Otherwise the other Hiltons or even the Doubletree.
