Many airlines have introduced HBO fares with different rules and that creates confusion for status pax.
For example BA basic economy does not give a free bag to OW status pax, while AF does for ST status pax.
Some airlines websites automatically update the baggage allowance for status pax, while others (like in your case) does not.
But what counts is the status at time of the flight not at time of booking. Pax can get quite upset if their booking shows an additional bag, but refused at check-in because they lost status in the meanwhile.
