Agree with the above post, Belen Hacienda is truly great, Abet dated, but fabulous service and a good EL overlooking the pool area.
Caution on the 2024 CR areas per the security report at the US embassy site. Stay away from Limon province & downtown SJ at night.
I personally like the Sheraton casino, but no outdoor pool there.
