As a Titanium, you'll be high up on the list. One problem at this hotel is the high occupancy, including guests who pay for suites. So no guarantees, but you'll be in good shape. If they can upgrade you, they will. If a suite is going to be available, or becomes available while you're there, they will offer to upgrade you mid-stay, assuming that you're next on the list.

The hotel does treat returning guests well, but remember, even the returning guests were once first-timers. Speaking for myself, it was the way that I was treated on my first stay (in 2006) that caused me to return for a second, the way I was treated on my second stay that caused me to return for a third, etc.

No. Happy hour drinks and canapés are served in multiple locations throughout the hotel, -- The Living Room on floor 1 (large room with live jazz several nights/week), The Library, adjacent to the Living Room, and The Sala, out by the pool. These venues are open to everyone, but as Titanium, your drinks and canapés will be complimentary. Same with breakfast. As Titanium, you can have a full breakfast in Orchid Café (lobby level, large, round restaurant, buffet style) or on floor 1 at Rossini's (the Italian restaurant). Again, breakfast will be complimentary.

SGS has a lot of loyal guests who stay there regularly, and a lot of them are FTers. Feel free to ask anything about the hotel in this thread, and you're bound to get a well-informed response.
