Taka is high on the list and sounds like it could be a slightly different but relaxing couple of days away from the hustle

I was traveling solo, so space wasn’t an issue. Just a matter of making sure you get a private location. 104 was pretty private, but I’d want to take a look at the resort layout again to double check.
Agreed - I loved Taka. It was also so incredible how relaxing it was coming back to the hotel after a day “in town” (though I say that living in Chicago. Luang Prabang isn’t exactly busy).
will definitely consider Puri and look into the room situation.

certainly open to other options but haven’t looked into this one. We’ve looked at O&O Desaru Coast, which is a short drive or ferry from Singapore, Song Saa, and the Six Senses in the area (Yao Noi seems the most interesting)
