Doublecheck the ticket price on this because I doubt one way is 1/2 of a RT since it involves TATL.

Buy yours and your wife’s separately, and transfer your sons points out only if you absolutely have to… the cost doesn’t make a lot of sense since it’s $0.01 per mile + $30 admin fee. $0.01 isn’t far off from what a mile is actually worth.
