Hello, I am looking to book a Avios redemption booking within USA, which includes Avios + $5.60 fees. In that case, my understanding is that the cancellation fee would be capped at the total amount of fees paid (i.e. $5.60). For that same redemption flight (for clarification, this is not commercial flight where I am using avios to reduce cash fare), if I choose one of the higher cash portion with lower avios (e.g. Avios + $60 additional cash + $5.60 in fees), would my cancellation fee still be capped at $5.60 or because I paid additional cash, I would be charged full $55 cancellation fee?
