Some mini canelé at Holiday Inn Express Bordeaux Lormont.



I don't know where they were from, but they tasted exactly like those from La Toque Cuivrée (personal rating: mediocre).

The ones that I later tried from from L'Art du Canelé, which I fortuitously happened upon en route to somewhere else, were much better. The rhum baba was better still 😁, and the proprietor was very welcoming and accommodating 😊.

Still, I was cheered by the greeting from the hotel.
