There's always the risk that award tickets may disappear during points transfer, which may take 1 to 2 days (from Citi or Cap1). However, BR tend to reserve significantly more saver awards for its own members than it makes available to its partner airlines. If you need to transfer lots of points, I'd probably call BR first to make sure those awards are available on the date (and a few other dates, just in case) that you're interested, before transferring the points.
