Phase 2 is not technically not needed but would improve the overall look and feel of the building, so there's a push to try and get it done. Work could require the closure of the ATS for a few months, the decision is time/cost in doing so over nightly or full time closures.
Thanks for the updates as always. These updates will be very good for T5.

Do you know if the master plan ever contemplated a new CTA station adjacent to or under the new parking garage (either above ground somehow or burying the CTA tracks a bit farther east of where they presently go underground)? Clearly a large (and unlikely) undertaking, but I think about it each time I see the Blue Line and ATS pass each other.
