I'm at the VIP Santamarķa (PP) now, at gate 5, upstairs.

Fairly impressed for a PP lounge. A lot of seating, a lot of plugs, clean restrooms, plenty of fresh food. In fact at 3 PM, an entire new menu was put out - hot dogs, salad, meatballs, carrot cake. It appears that all alcohol is for sale, but not a big deal for me as I rarely drink during the week. I did buy a hamburger off the menu - it was fairly tasty, loaded with toppings and fresh guacamole, and included a version of fries - all for $12. And it was brought to my seat.

Headed off to find the CM lounge now.

Went to the VIP Lounge Costa Rica (gate 18), which also serves as the *A Gold lounge. Don't bother. Much smaller than VIP Santamaria, lesser food selection, dirty plates stacked on tables, etc. Now that I think of it, this is not a 'one of'; my February visit was just as bad. I can't imagine that both have run by the same management.
