Hi all, quick question - I had my easyjet flight BSL-BUD cancelled and I am looking at rebooking options. Amongst the limited options for tomorrow, I can use my BA Gold status to redeem BSL-LHR-BUD flights with avios. I don't expect any answers regarding easyjet's procedures or willingness to pay out on a claim, but I have the HSBC Premier insurance I hope will be more generous. Will they reimburse me for the value of my avios? Backtracking is not the best value for my personal considerations when redeeming usually, but if the insurance is willing to reimburse this then I'd be more willing to redeem it.
